How to Remove the Powered by FindSlot Badge

FindSlot Team · Published Oct 13, 2026 · Updated Oct 7, 2026

You can remove the Powered by FindSlot badge on Pro and Enterprise by turning off Show Powered by FindSlot in the booking-page editor. The person making the change needs permission to update the business. The badge is shown by default, so upgrading alone does not remove it.

After changing the setting, check the public booking page and a controlled client's appointment page. Both follow the business's badge choice. This guide covers that specific control, the checks that establish it worked, and the questions to ask when the expected option is unavailable.

Confirm the account and permission first

Start in the business whose booking page you intend to change. A person working with more than one business should identify the correct account before opening the editor. Check the business name against the link your clients currently use.

Then confirm two prerequisites:

  • The business uses a plan that includes badge removal: current Pro or Enterprise.
  • The signed-in person has permission to update the business.

Consult current FindSlot plans for the available capabilities. A person being able to see appointments does not establish that they can change business presentation. If the person doing the work lacks that permission, have an authorized owner or manager make the change rather than sharing credentials.

Change the setting in the booking-page editor

Open the booking-page editor for that business and find Show Powered by FindSlot. Turn it off and save the change through the editor's normal save flow.

Use a short sequence rather than changing several presentation options at once:

  1. Identify the correct business and its public booking destination.
  2. Open that business's booking-page editor.
  3. Review the current value of Show Powered by FindSlot.
  4. Turn the option off if you want the badge removed.
  5. Save the change.
  6. Reopen the saved setup to confirm the intended value remains selected.

The label matters more than memorizing a position on the screen. Editor layouts can change, while the job remains the same: update that business's badge setting and confirm the saved result.

This is a display choice. You do not need to create a replacement appointment or cancel an existing one merely to check it.

Inspect the public booking page

Open the actual link clients use rather than relying only on the editor view. Check that you arrived at the intended business and that the badge reflects the saved setting.

A useful verification note contains observable details:

Business: [name]. Booking destination checked: [link]. Setting saved as: Off. Public page opened at: [time]. Badge displayed: [yes/no]. Checked by: [name].

Keep that note in your team's working record if several people maintain the page. Record the date and the pages checked so the next person can follow the same routine.

Also confirm that the service choices and booking action still behave as expected. The booking-page overview explains the wider client flow. A branding change is complete when the presentation is right and the client can still follow the intended booking path.

Check the client's appointment page too

The client's appointment page follows the same badge setting. Use an appointment your team controls to inspect that surface without exposing another customer's booking link.

Open the current appointment page, confirm its business and details, then look for the badge. Compare the outcome with the public booking page. This catches the situation where someone checks only the first screen and assumes the rest of the client journey looks the same.

An illustrative studio might share its booking page from Instagram while regular clients return through an appointment-management link. Both groups should see the business's selected badge presentation. The badge decision is not limited to the social-media arrival path.

Use your normal authorized test procedure. Do not ask a real customer to change an appointment simply to prove a display option works.

If the option is missing or cannot be changed

First check the prerequisites again. Is this the intended business? Does its current plan include badge removal? Can the signed-in person update business settings?

Next, confirm that you are in the booking-page editor rather than another staff member's profile or an appointment record. The badge is a business-level presentation choice, not an individual provider preference.

If the plan and permission are correct but the control is still unavailable, describe what you can observe when asking for help. Useful details include the business name, the current plan, which editor you opened, and whether the option is absent or present but cannot be saved. Do not include client appointment links or unnecessary personal information.

Avoid repeatedly toggling unrelated settings. A focused description makes the problem easier to investigate and avoids introducing other changes while the badge question remains unresolved.

If the saved choice and the public page disagree

Verify that the saved setting is off and that the page you are checking belongs to the same business. Reopen the current public destination and inspect it again. An older link, another business or an unsaved editor change can otherwise look like a badge-removal problem.

Compare the booking page and the controlled appointment page. Record which one still shows the badge and provide that distinction when seeking help. "It is still there" is less useful than "the saved setting is off; the booking page is badge-free; the controlled appointment page still shows it."

Do not promise a particular refresh delay or try to repair the result by creating duplicate bookings. This is a presentation check, and the current appointment record should remain the reference for its service and time.

What the badge switch changes

The switch controls the visible Powered by FindSlot badge on the booking page and client's appointment page. It does not create a custom domain, a separately branded mobile application or unrestricted white-label hosting.

Keep descriptions of your booking experience precise when updating your website. "Book with us online" and a familiar business identity may be all your clients need. Claims about an independent branded app should match what the business actually provides.

For a broader presentation review, compare the business name and service descriptions across your website, social link and booking page. If you use QR booking, scan the printed code and confirm it still opens the right destination.

Quick completion checklist

  • Correct business and public destination identified.
  • Current plan includes badge removal.
  • Authorized person changed the setting.
  • Show Powered by FindSlot is saved as off.
  • Public booking page checked.
  • Controlled client's appointment page checked.
  • Service selection and current appointment details remain clear.

Can we keep the badge on Pro?

Yes. The badge is shown by default, and removal is an optional business choice.

Does upgrading remove it automatically?

No. Change the display setting explicitly if you want a badge-free page.

Does every provider need to switch it off separately?

This is a business presentation control. Check it for the correct business; it is not a personal calendar connection each staff member sets up.

Review FindSlot features and current plans, or create an account. Finish the change by checking both client-facing pages, so the result is visible beyond the editor.
